Wicked

Lila said, "I'm wicked hungry, Momma."

"You're hungry?" Momma asked.

"Yeah, Momma.  Wicked hungry."

Play Twinkle...

Lila was fixated on Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star for months.  She'd cooled on it a bit but every now and again she would beg us, "Mommy, play Twinkle on your phone."

Usually we would agree and pull up a cute Youtube video with an owl and a star.  And sometimes at bed, Christie would sing it to Lila to help settle her.

She hadn't requested it for a while, but recently she asked, "Mommy, play Twinkle on your phone?"

Christie said, "No, Honey, my phone is out of battery."

"Oh," Lila said.  Then after a pause, "Mommy, you play Twinkle with your mouth?"

Christie laughed.  "You want me to sing it to you?"

"Yeah," Lila said.

"OK," Christie agreed.

More 'nanas

Lila was apparently hungry and said, "I want 'nana, Mommy."

Christie said, "Sorry Lila, we need to get more bananas."

"Need more nanas?" Lila said.

"Yes, Lila, we need more."

Then Lila said, "You go to supermarket.  Get more 'nanas."  She annunciated supermarket perfectly, and nodded as she said it.
