Arrival

On Tuesday afternoon, Lila came impatiently into the world.

It had appeared to the resident inspecting Lila's mother that the pregnancy still had quite some time to go.  He left the room, only to be paged by Simone, the nurse, four minutes later, because the baby was ready to arrive.  He sauntered into the room, looking a bit annoyed at being called back.  Simone calmly, but in serious manner of a woman not to be messed with, told him to gear up because the baby was coming.  He did so and Simone caught the baby, just before the resident could.

They cut the cord and gave beautiful Lila to her mother.
